Stretching 2.6 miles along the Hillsborough River, the Tampa Riverwalk has been named one of the top 15 riverwalks in the United States.
But it certainly accomplishes the purpose it was built to do, enhance the image of Tamp as a beautiful and unique destination and highlight Tampa's waterfront. The Tampa Riverwalk doesn't resemble the Riverwalk in Chicago or San Antonio.
